How exactly will we carry out the mission Jesus has given to us?  What specific things do we actually do as a church to bring renewal to our area?  In reflecting further on the Bible’s teaching on the church, it seems to us that God has given us four basic things to do.  He has called us together as a church to worship him, to enjoy and maintain fellowship with one another as a church, to grow to spiritual maturity as Jesus’ disciples, and to reach out to the world with both the message of Jesus Christ and the love of Jesus Christ.  These four tasks--worship, fellowship, growth, and outreach, are the means by which we hope to bring renewal to our two cities.  The presence of Purdue University in our area also creates a unique opportunity for our church to be involved specifically in campus ministry as well.
